Where is the Zelma Basha Salmeri Gallery – 22402 S Basha Rd, Chandler, AZ 85248
This is an amazing collection of Native American art. And, Displays include woven baskets, pottery, and tools. The items are displayed in a quiet setting which allows the visitor to take their time walking through the beautiful displays and taking in the amazing Native American artwork. Additionally, Eddie Basha has been quoted as saying, “Art Should Be Shared”. The gallery showcases 3500 pieces of art, ranging from oil paintings, watercolors, acrylics, and pastels. Additionally, there are charcoal drawings, pen & inks, bronze, wood, and natural stone sculptures, wood-turned bowls, basketry, pottery, katsinas, and jewelry. Be sure to allow plenty of time to take it all in!
The gallery is typically open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. It’s recommended that visitors call the information line at 480-895-5230 (press option 2) to make sure the gallery is open prior to visiting.

Here you will find horseback riding trails that can be enjoyed by the entire family. Additionally, horseback riders don’t ride one behind the other as in most trail rides. Here you ride side by side to take in the amazing scenery. If you are lucky, you may get a glimpse of the wild horses running at Wild Horse Pass! Your trail ride is guided by knowledgable wranglers. The Koli Equestrian Center also provides other activities such as Birthday Parties, Hay Wagon Rides, Carriage Rides, and Cattle Drives. 3. Where is Veteran’s oasis Park – Run by the City of Chandler – 4050 E. Chandler Heights Rd.
Here you will find scenic trails, fishing, birding, horseback riding, loads of picnic areas, and an outdoor amphitheater. And In these 113 acres, you will find something for everyone!. Additionally, This is a peaceful place to take in the sites and sounds of the area. This park is a combination of drylands and wetlands. This a habitat for our very diverse Sonoran Desert plants and wildlife. Here you will also find an Environmental Education Center.

Drop your line into this quiet 5-acre lake. An Urban Fishing License is required, however, they are not old at the park. You can enjoy a great fishing experience as you try to catch rainbow trout, bluegill, redear sunfish, hybrid sunfish, or largemouth bass.
The lake is stocked with fish every two weeks from mid-September through June. Fishing is only from the bank. No watercraft, such as canoes and kayaks are permitted on the lake.
