Ahwatukee Recreation Center
All homes for sale in the adult communities in Ahwatukee are required to belong to the Recreation Center. This Adult community is made up of of1628 homes. This center has had a multi-million dollar makeover in recent years. Features of this recreation center are:

Membership can also be purchased by anyone at least 55 years old who resides outside of the community. Owners who are renting out their homes can transfer membership to their renters
Homeowners who are under 55 years of age may purchase a home in this community, however, one of the occupants must be 55 years of age. No one under 18 years of age may reside in the home. Younger family and friends, however my visit.
